Morasha Wiggins burst onto the Michigan high school basketball scene last fall. She became an instant star as a freshman at Kalamazoo Central. Wiggins averaged 14ppg, 9rpg, 5.5apg, 4spg, and 2.5bpg. The 6’0” standout point guard/shooting guard is now starring for Michigan Crossover. Wiggins has an elite skill set. She is almost impossible to stop when attacking the basket. Wiggins has the ability to finish at the basket or dish off to an open teammate. She is excellent in regards to getting her teammates involved, doing this by possessing a high basketball IQ and having the ability to pass a player open. Wiggins is exceptional on the defensive end. She is quick and aggressive which can create havoc for her opponents. Wiggins will provide a college coach with athleticism, versatility, and energy. [player_tooltip player_id="26677" first="Morasha" last="Wiggins"] is currently being recruited by mid and high major Division 1 schools. She received her first offer when she was just an 8th grader. Shown Interest: DePaul Florida Indiana Marquette Michigan MIchigan State Penn State UMass Villanova Western Michigan Wright State Offered: DePaul UMass Western Michigan [player_tooltip player_id="26677" first="Morasha" last="Wiggins"] is looking for more in a school at the next level than just a basketball fit. She is also looking for a school that offers educational programs that match her interests and a place that is a positive environment. College coaches should be sure to see Wiggins play whenever possible. She wants to win Nike Nationals, perform well on the highest level, and earn herself even more recognition. Wiggins envisions herself as a state champion, MIss Basketball, a college player, and eventually playing in the WNBA. Off the court, Wiggins has high aspirations for herself as well. She wants to maintain a 3.5gpa or higher, be a role model for younger kids, and be a positive example for her peers. “My greatest motivations are my Grandma, Granny and Aunt Sharon that have passed away because they always motivated me to do better and I want to make sure I make them proud,” said Wiggins.
