Here is a look at a couple more girls basketball players that are standout players in multiple sports:
Shea Tripp (2021, F/C, Michigan Center)
Tripp is a force in the paint on the basketball court. She’s an elite post defender who isn’t afraid to hit the floor and make hustle plays. Tripp has no off switch and goes hard whenever she’s on the floor. She is a steady player with a high basketball IQ.
This fall, Tripp can be found on the volleyball court playing for Michigan Center. She plays Middle Front and is excited to be a leader on the team and have a successful season. Tripp is looking forward to getting stronger as an overall athlete.

Kadyn Blanchard (2020, G, Freeland)
Blanchard is a well rounded guard for Freeland High School. She is an excellent shooter who can also find open lanes to the rim. Blanchard sees the court well, which allows her to find teammates in scoring positions. She has established herself as a legitimate Division 1 recruit.
Blanchard is a Middle Hitter for the Freeland volleyball team this fall. She’s appreciates the opportunity to play the sport with her friends. Blanchard enjoys being on a team with a great group of athletes that work hard. She likes that the volleyball team supports and encourages each other.
“I feel it has benefited me, because it has made me an all around athlete. Also, I have gotten to meet many more people and I have learned many more life skills. Finally, it has taught me mental toughness and how to excel in the role that my team needed me to play.”
