Julia Ayrault Julia Ayrault 6'2" | SF Grosse Pointe North | 2019 State MI (6’2”, SF, Grosse Pointe North, Michigan Mystics )
Ayrault an elite talent and future Division 1 college basketball player. She will enter the season as one of the front runners for Michigan’s Miss Basketball. Ayrault creates difficulties for opponents with her size and ability to score from anywhere on the court.
Rickea Jackson Rickea Jackson 6'2" | SF Detroit Edison | 2019 State MI (6’3”, PF, Detroit Edison, Michigan Crossover)
Jackson is a top 10 player nationally. She recently trimmed her college list to Texas, Rutgers, Ohio State, Louisville, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and South Carolina. Jackson is the preseason favorite for Michigan’s Miss Basketball. There may not be a high school player in the country that can stop her 1-on-1.
Shine Strickland-Gills Shine Strickland-Gills 6'1" | PF Saginaw Heritage | 2019 State MI (6’0”, PF, Heritage High School, Michigan Storm)
Strickland-Gills is a strong and physical player with a college ready frame. She’s the type of athlete who could handle the rigors of college basketball right now. Strickland-Gills uses her strength in the paint to overpower opponents. She is an excellent post defender.
Cara VanKempen Cara VanKempen 6'0" | PF Coopersville | 2019 State MI (6’1”, G/F, Coopersville High School, Michigan Basketball Academy)
VanKempen is a pure athlete. She’s a smooth lefty whose stock blew up this spring and summer. VanKempen is a fundamentally sound and efficient shooter. She will create issues defensively for her opponents. VanKempen is another future Division 1 college basketball player.
Taylor Williams Taylor Williams 6'2" | PF Macomb Dakota | 2019 State MI (6’2”, F, Macomb Dakota)
Williams really established herself as a force last high school season. She’s a stat sheet stuffer who contributes in so many ways. Williams rebounds, scores, blocks shots, dishes the ball, and gets steals as well. She’s willing to do whatever her team needs. Williams is tough in the paint and a star with a very high ceiling.
