She is a 5’10” point guard from Kent City and is in the class of 2021. Bowers plays grassroots basketball for the West MI Drive. Last high school season she led her team to the state quarterfinals for the first time in 29 years and earned first team All-State honors. Bowers averaged19.2ppg, 8.3rpg, 4.9spg, 3.2apg, and 1.5bpg.
Bowers is one of the most skilled point guard prospects in Michigan. She has excellent ball handling skills and rarely turns the ball over. Bowers is a solid shooter who can consistently hit the three pointer. She is dangerous when attacking the basket and has the ability to finish in traffic.
Bowers is an experienced and dedicated athlete who is always working to get better. She is currently focused on improving her first step. Bowers was active on the grassroots scene this spring and summer. She showed off her game and played well in front of numerous college coaches. Bowers is a well rounded athlete who is involved in multiple sports.

Not only does she offer a college program her skills as a player, but she will bring her work ethic and energy to campus as well. Bowers is currently sitting on four offers: Western Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, University of Detroit, and Oakland University. She’s been receiving many letters from interested coaches, getting invites to elite camps, and setting up visits to potential schools. Bowers wants to attend a school that she loves and enjoys. Her recruitment should continue to pick up steam as season approaches.
Bowers has her future in mind and is motivated to be successful in all endeavors. “My goals off the court are to find a career path I love, get a good job, have an awesome family, have fun with the ones I love and make them proud, and to be successful both on and off the court,” she said. Bowers is wise beyond her years and will be a great addition to a college program.
“My greatest motivation came to me not very long ago, Todd Carlson was my coach 3rd-6th grade. The day before he died he told me ‘keep working hard, I know you will go far and do great things.
