Keala Martinez (SF Roosevelt, 2022) The young Martinez has picked up an offer from DII Wayne State out of Nebraska. She has A+ ball handling skills and is not afraid to use them to get an open shot. Whether it’s using her step back, scoop lay-up or an off balance floater, Martinez has it all.
Logan Nissley (Bismarck Century, ND 2022). Already playing up three grades with her AAU club (Dakota Drillers), Nissley was thrown into the fire and came out unphased. Even though NIssley is young, she has plenty of schools showing interest.
Lexi Unruh (Sioux Falls Christian, SD 2021). Unruh was injured for the first half of the AAU season but come back during the NCAA July live period. The sophomore has a good basketball frame, long, athletic and can put the ball on the floor. She started to expand her 3, which spells nightmare for the defense.
Abby Duchscherer (Kindred, ND 2022). Last year the First Team All-State Class B member filled up the state line. As an 8th grader Duchscherer averaged 17ppg, 6rpg, 4apg and 3spg. That is more than enough to keep an eye out on her.
Rylee Haldeman (West Central, SD 2022). Started at point for the Trojans. This young PG stayed poised throughout West Central’s run last year to state. She is the definition of a true point guard.

NDJAKALENGA MWENENTANDA (O’Gormen, SD 2022) NDJAKALENGA is super, super athletic. She’s a track runner naturally but a hooper organically. During the summer you can find her playing for ALL Iowa Attack, a NIKE EYBL program. She also competes at some of the best camps in the county. She made her way down to Houston, Texas to attend long time NBA coach John Lucas Top 160 Invitational Camp.
Haleigh Timmer ( St. Thomas More, SD 2021) Coming from programs like St.Thomas More and North Tartan NIKE EYBL you get used to competing at a high level. Timmers will be key to the 5x reigning Class A champs. The Cavaliers seems to always have some young studs tucked away up there.
Lexi Plitzuweit (Vermillion, SD 2021) Everyone loves a coaches kid. They know the game on a different level. Lexi is one of those kids. She’s a smart, crafty and aggressive player. Her mother is the Head Coach at The University of South Dakota, big brother is on the Men’s Basketball team at Augustana University. I’m sure she has learned a thing or two from them. Duh!!! You can tell! Lexi has that stop and go type of game. Something like old school Sam Cassell, put you on the hip. AND 1…..
