People rush out to find great deals at a variety of stores. College basketball coaches are always ’shopping’ for an excellent player that will help build their program and win games. They are always searching for those special athletes that will be a great fit on their team. On the biggest shopping day of the year, here are a few players in Michigan that college coaches should be taking a long look at.
Rana Elhusseini Rana Elhusseini 5'6" | PG Dearborn Fordson | 2019 State MI (2019, Point Guard, Fordson)
Elhusseini is a floor leader of the showtime variety. She is a point guard with flash, especially with the pass. Elhusseini is a good shooter who can also take her opponent off the dribble. She has the ability to finish at the rim with both hands. Elhusseini has received offers and / or interest from many schools. She is highly valued as a prospect and will be a great addition to a college program.
Maddie Rzepka Maddie Rzepka 5'9" | SG Dearborn Divine Child | 2019 State MI (2019, Shooting Guard, Dearborn Divine Child)
Rzepka is a highly efficient player with an incredible turnover rate. She plays both ends of the floor with equal intensity and effectiveness. Rzepka is a multilevel scorer who can shoot and finish through contact. She is coming an outstanding junior season and is primed for a big senior campaign. Rzepka has received interest from multiple schools.
Zara Weber Zara Weber 5'9" | SG Kent City | 2019 State MI (2019, Guard, Kent City)
Weber is an underrated scorer and excellent shooter. She can really keep a scoreboard moving. Weber has a reputation as a hard worker and a good student. She is a plus in the locker room and a classic team player. Weber has a skill set that should transfer nicely to the next level. Her shooting, scoring, and basketball IQ will help a program tremendously.
