The Breakdown Fall League is kind of like spring, only in reverse – it comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion. Every year there is a familiar pattern. On the opening weekend in mid-October, things are pretty tame, and there’s a certain laissez-faire attitude among most teams. By week three it heats up a bit as more players filter back from volleyball and soccer obligations. When week four rolls around, all bets are off. That’s how it was Sunday afternoon at Bloomington Kennedy as Tartan High School met Eden Prairie in a week 4 battle. And we do mean battle.
