Sydney Freeman – 5’7 G – Central Noble – 2019
Freeman is a do-it-all player for Central Noble. She is strong with the ball, although her passes weren’t very good in this one. A little lazy with her passes which led to a few turnovers. She didn’t shoot the ball that well but scored when she needed to do so. Was solid at the line to help put away the game. Very good in the open floor and has the ability to go coast to coast with the ball. Committed to Ball State – 22 points, 7 rebounds
Meleah Leatherman – 6’1 F – Central Noble – 2019
Leatherman played really well in the pick-and-roll game. She was very strong on the offensive boards and grabbed five of them. Very efficient game from her and when Central Noble was struggling they were able to throw it to her and she was able to go to work. Committed to Saint Francis – 19 points, 9 rebounds
Jordan Barga – 6’ F – Monroe Central – 2019
Barga is a very active forward prospect who tends to stay inside but handles the ball up the floor at times. Very comfortable with the ball in her hands and can do a lot of damage on the inside. High level rebounder and will be a mismatch for smaller players at the next level. Strong with the ball. Really good ability to score the ball and move without it. Committed to Kentucky Wesleyan – 28 points, 16 rebounds (8 offensive)
Mallorey Frye – 5’5 G – Linton-Stockton – 2019
Frye is a solid lead guard for Linton who just doesn’t turn the ball over. She sets the offense up well from her lead guard role. Doesn’t look to score and isn’t overly quick with the ball. Likes to push it up the floor. Solid defender who plays bigger than her size. She is a great communicator on the floor and is always talking.
Kira Robinson – 6’3 C – Winchester – 2019
Robinson was so-so in this one as she went to the bench early in foul trouble. She didn’t do much outside of the paint and the speed of the posts for Oak Hills really affected her. Good shot blocker but gets a lot of those blocks due to her length. Needs to gain speed laterally. Lots of upside in her game. Committed to Lincoln Trail. – 10 points
Hannah Graft – 5’4 G – Winchester – 2019
Graft played pretty well but just didn’t find her name in the stat book all that much. She did a good job of getting to her spot on the floor and threw a couple of really good passes. Graft was a solid guard on a Winchester team that really didn’t play up to their potential in this game. Needs to work on ball security. – 5 points
Janessa Hasty – 5’8 G – Oak Hill – 2019
Hasty was a really solid guard for Oak Hill in this one. She just returned last weekend from a soccer injury and it doesn’t look like she missed any time at all from the court. Solid playmaker for Oak Hill and she can score the score pretty well if she has a head of steam at the basket. Her shot is still a little off but I expect that to return to form as she gets more playing time. – 9 points, 3 assists
Adrianna Trexler – 6’ F – Oak Hill – 2019
Trexler was really good in this one. She was all over the place doing a ton of different things. She handles the ball really well and can shoot the ball from the perimeter. Good nose for the ball and she was the main reason that Oak Hill got back into the game and won. Really high motor from her in this one and stayed the same pace the entire game. Committed to Indiana Wesleyan. – 18 points, 9 rebounds
Kaela Robey – 5’9 F – Oak Hill – 2019
Robey was a very high motor player who made hustle play after hustle play. Robey is one of those players who is a big undersized but makes up for that in hustle and grit. Not tremendous in any skill area but is going to be in each stat category each night. A really good showing by Robey. – 8 points, 10 rebounds
Trinitee Harris – 5’8 G – Elkhart Central – 2019
Harris was the best player on the floor against Fishers. Her game was hitting on all cylinders and it seemed that every shot she put up, she made. Harris is really good at going to the rim and can stop on a dime to pull-up. Doesn’t take a ton of bad shots and doesn’t turn the ball over. Harris is the most athletic player every time she steps on the floor. Very solid defender as well. – 27 points, 7 rebounds
Cameron Tabor – 5’9 G – New Castle – 2019
This was a bad game for Tabor. She just couldn’t hit a shot in the game until the fourth quarter. Turned the ball over more than she should have and just did not look crisp. She turned her ankle early in the first quarter and I think that affected her the rest of the game. You can chalk this up as an anomaly for Tabor. She is a very good player, this was just an off game. Rebounded the ball well and shared it well. No matter what is happening, she stays very composed. Committed to Davidson. – 24 points, 10 rebounds
Maddie Ryman – 5’6 G – Warsaw – 2019
Ryman was pretty good in this one. She handled the ball well but struggled to make her free throws. A player who Warsaw trusts with the ball in her hand with her ball-handling. Ryman looked to pass the ball most of the time when she got into the lane. – 8 points
Logan Cox – 6’3 F/C – East Central – 2019
Cox really struggled when Pike was bodying her up. The physicality of Pike really forced her into postitons in which she wasn’t comfortable. Despite being the tallest player on the floor at all times, she struggled to rebound the ball. Needs to be a lot more aggressive since she has a ton of height on the floor. Got it going a bit in the second half scoring but needs to play aggressive throughout the entire game. – 16 points, 7 rebounds
Brilan McCory – 5’10 G – East Central – 2019
A long athletic guard who isn’t strong enough to go down low, but she can really dictate the basketball game with the things that she does with the ball. Good handles but just doesn’t have the speed that she needs to take players off the dribble. Good shooter who is strong with both hands. – 10 points
Jada Roberson – 5’6 G – Pike – 2019
Roberson played very well in this one. She had an ACL injury last year and it seems that they are still trying to ease her back into action by sitting her a little bit longer in the second half. Her shot looks good and she was hitting early on. Roberson has pretty solid court vision and passed the ball really well. Quick with the ball in her hand and makes the right plays. Handles it really well. – 19 points
Kinnidy Garrard – 6’ F – Pike – 2019
Garrard had a pretty solid game but I didn’t really like her motor. Seemed like she was taking a few too many plays off but when she did play hard she played well. Struggled a bit rebounding the ball because of the height of Cox but was able to fend her off for a few rebounds. Garrard showed me a few really nice dribble moves with the ball that she finished in the lane. – 9 points, 8 rebounds
