The unsigned 5’10 Forward is a threat from distance at all times shooting 30% from beyond the arc, as well as her soft touch at the free throw line clipping 80%. She will be an asset on and off the court for any college program as her size and skill-set are a match-up nightmare. She can post up finishing left or right as well as face up and attack the basket. Off the Court Ceaser has excelled in the classroom achieving Honor Roll status each semester in high school. Prep Girls Hoops caught up with Na’Tracia to talk about her past and present experiences and future plans going forward.
Ceaser spent summers traveling the club circuit up and down the highway with Barnstormers Adidas Gauntlet Grassroots program. “I am very blessed that I got the opportunity to even play AAU, it’s something I would do all over again if I could”, I was Fortunate to be a part of a team who was as welcoming as my Barnstormers team was”.
“I was able to play alongside some highly recruited girls in Emma Koch and Lauren Zacharias (Iowa City West), Sharon Goodman (Crestwood) and all of my teammates were just great to be around”.

In her junior season Na’Tracia landed on the Mississippi Valley All Conference 1st Team as a Unanimous Selection with 16ppg to go along with 5 boards and she looks to add to her resume again this season. In her sophomore season she was awarded 2nd Team All MVC Conference Honors.
She has set her sights on becoming an all-around better player “I’ve worked this off-season on becoming more athletic and quicker on defense” “Shooting is a stronger part of my game, but I’ve worked on my release to get quicker and more efficient at shooting”.
When asked about her goals for the season individually and team, Ceasar adds “My main goal is to have fun it’s my last year of high school basketball, but I also want to improve my game as I’m having fun with my teammates. “I’ve been playing Varsity my entire High School career”, So, I definitely want to be the best leader I can be to my teammates and aid them in improving as the season goes on”, “I’m the veteran on the team and I know my teammates will feed off of my energy and effort”
Ceaser has her sights on a collegiate playing career and a future in the medical field “I’m really into radiology so I could see my future plans having something to do within that field of work”. She hasn’t made a commitment to any college currently and her recruiting options are still open.
For those young ladies in her community that aspire to be Student Athletes… Ceaser’s advice to them would be, “To stay true to yourself and work hard because it does pay off! Stay humble! Lastly make sure you have fun Life is too short!”
You can catch an early glimpse of Ceaser as the Wahawk’s open their season Friday Nov. 30 at home against Epworth of Western Dubuque and Saturday Dec. 1 hosting Fairfield.
