As a freshman last season Mackley played an important role for the Pioneers, but she wasn’t a standout. Then the 5’10 guard had a breakout summer. This weekend illustrated that she isn’t going to take a back seat to anyone now. Mackley had 11 points in Friday’s dramatic win over Holy Family and followed that up with 17 on Saturday.
