A freshman typically doesn't have much of an immediate impact but this year has been much different but there have been tons of freshman that have made a major impact on their Varsity team.  For Freshman guard Kaleah Toran who has been an unexpected but outstanding player for the Springfield Senators. She has displaying her versatile skill set and has grown into a leader for the Senators.

Kaleah first came on to my radar when she went off against top-ranked Danville Scharlarman that has 4 Divison I players on their roster,  she had a great showing against Notre Dame commit Anya Peoples. Kaleah scored 13 points and 6 rebounds against them, and also display her excellent feel and flow for the game while also showcasing her vision and slick dimes she hands out. Later, in the season she played against a talented and experience Decatur MacArthur that also has several Divison I prospects on the roster. She showed her outstanding versatility showing every aspect of her game, she scored 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 assist and she &  the Senators got a huge win. Kaleah showed why her potential is off the chart she can defend anyone in
