The King Showcase on MLK Day was a solid event on the girls side. There were six participating teams and all of them had some college prospects that kept the games entertaining. One common theme among these teams was having a quality shooter. There were some shooters on display in the ShoWare Center! Some of these players are already signed for college, but one remains uncommitted as mentioned below.

Top Shooters in the King Showcase:

Kelsey Lenzie, 2019, 5'7, SG, West Seattle HS- The zone buster for West Seattle was able to knock down some outside shots versus Prairie's tough zone. She shoots the ball well on catch and shoot opportunities. Kelsey also moves well without the ball, sliding to spots on the floor for easier passing angles. After seeing her for many years, I can confidently say she's one of the better shooters in Washington. She is capable of getting hot and hitting 4-5 threes in a single game. Signed: Portland Pilots
