Ranking high school basketball players is an unenviable task. It's a completely subjective science with no right or wrong answers. For every person doing it, every list will look different.

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan ranked the players in the 2019 class. When taking on this task people and companies must be humble and admit error. The following is a list of players that we admittedly missed the ball on. These players deserve a higher ranking.

Diynasti Dowell (5'11", SF, Muskegon)

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #61

Dowell is an athletic 3 level scorer. She attacks the bucket on offense and is a solid rebounder. Dowell should be ranked higher simply because of her influence on the game.

Natalie Dunn (PG, West Ottawa)

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #80

We flat out missed on this. Dunn is a top notch athlete and a dangerous scorer. She's an elite floor general and one of the better perimeter players on the west side of the state.

Ellie Klein (G, Essexville Garber)

Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #94

Klein's ranking is much too low. She's a multi level scorer who hit the 1000 point mark this season. Klein is an excellent ball handler and defender.

Madison Peterson (5'8",
