Lewis and Clark (LC) led from start to finish and really did an impressive job of handling GP’s pressure defense. It was a team effort in doing so, but GP kept the heat coming until the very end, as expected. Lewis and Clark would win by a final of 48-38. That being said, there was some solid performances from players on both teams!
Some top performers:
2019 6’0 W Jacinta Buckley (Lewis and Clark HS) – The MVP of the game did a little bit (or a lot) of everything for the Tigers. Jacinta is the ultimate unselfish utility player that can impact the game in many ways, on both sides of the ball. She finished the game with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
2021 5’5 G Aaliyah Collins (Glacier Peak HS) – The ultra quick sophomore has continued her impressive state tourney run. She applied pressure defense all game long and still had plenty of energy to give the the Grizzlies 13 points.
2021 5’7 PG Andie Zylak (Lewis and Clark HS) – The sophomore had point guard responsibilities and did her absolute best to keep her turnovers to a minimum, despite having the ball in her hands so much. She finished with 10 points, 4 assists and 7 rebounds.
2021 5’8 G Maya Erling (Glacier Peak HS) – The sophomore guard was productive scoring 14 points and grabbing 5 boards. She is a deceptive athlete with good body control and play making ability.
2019 5’10 SG Dominique Arquette (Lewis and Clark HS) – The swing guard had a solid game for the Tigers, handling the pressure and contributing in multiple ways. She finished with 11 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
Lewis and Clark moves onto the semis to play the winner of Woodinville and Kentridge at 9pm. Glacier Peak will play the loser of the same game at 2pm.
