Kentucky is not known for it's post players on the boys side of basketball but the ladies is another story. There are several nice post prospects who are going to be playing college basketball this time next year. Here's a breakdown of the top post players in the Senior class:

  • Nila Blackford, Manual - The best post player in the state this season, Nila is a walking double-double. Blackford is a legit 6'1 forward with the ability to bully a player to the rim or use polished post moves to get a defender to jump at a shot fake. She shot 49% from the field while facing double and triple teams all season.
  • Cameron Browning, Male - Another double-double machine, Browning puts up 15 points and 10 rebounds every night out. Her post presence has helped to get the Lady Bulldogs to Rupp Arena next week. Making 7/18 from three for the season, Cameron has shown some ability to shoot the ball and that could translate to the next level.
  • Mikayla Kinnard, Eastern - After averaging 15 points and 9 rebounds in her Senior season, Kinnard takes her talents to SIU-Edwardsville next year. Look for her to challenge for playing time right
