Roster Breakdown
This is a 2021 team that is very solid. I really think that there is a nice balance of height and skill on this roster. They have players on the team that have tasted success on their high school teams, and I think this year will be the same. There is a lot of talent on this roster and throughout the season I think that they will show it.
One to Watch
I think that the player to watch is going to be the lone Iowa product on the roster. Abby Heemstra is a player from Rock Valley (IA) and I think was just coming into her own at the end of the high school season. She’s a very physical body who plays a solid presence on the inside. She scored less than 10 points a game last season, but did take a lot of shots. Once more shots start falling, she is going to be tough to stop.
Who Should be Watching
This is a team that has players for all levels of colleges. This is a great team for those regional NAIA/DII/DIII schools to come in and get an early look. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see DI schools checking in to see what some of these players look like when the live periods roll around.

Schedule Breakdown
This is a team that will be traveling quite a bit as they kick their season off with two straight trips down to Iowa, followed by two trips over to Minnesota. They play a nice live period schedule as well in July and their exposure opportunities should be plentiful. It’s going to be a very good opportunity to play on a big stage for this squad.
