I recently caught up to Demi Rodriguez to talk about college basketball, her team goals, and more.

What is the biggest strength in your game?
Demi Rodriguez:
My shot is my biggest strength.

Congratulations on your commitment to Macomb Community College. What are you looking forward to the most about college basketball?
Demi Rodriguez:
I am looking forward to just becoming a better player and moving into that next level.
Question:
What do you think will be the biggest adjustment at the next level?
Demi Rodriguez:
The biggest adjustment to the next level is the speed of the game.
Question:
What has been your best moment in basketball so far?
Demi Rodriguez:
My best moment so far in basketball is making 7 threes, my most threes in a game.

Who has been the toughest player that you’ve matched up with this season?
Demi Rodriguez:
The toughest player I’ve matched up with this season is Mahri Petree.
Question:
What are your team goals for the rest of the season?
Demi Rodriguez:
My team goals are to obviously get past districts and from there go as far as we can the rest of the season.

What professional players game reminds you of your own?
Demi Rodriguez:
The player I think I play the most like is Kelsey Plum.

What is your favorite class in school? Why?
Demi Rodriguez:
My favorite class in school is biology, because science is my best subject and I think it’s interesting to learn about the diffrent things that science brings!
