Kierstan Bell Takes Home Her Third Ms. Basketball
Kierstan Bell is a name that you definitely know in the girls hoop scene. And, now she’s done something only Lebron James has done, and no other female has done.
Winning her third Ms. Ohio Basketball award, Bell and James stand as the only two to win this award, Mr. or Ms. That is some very elite company for the Ohio State signee, that will stick with her for a lifetime.

With the fourth most points in girls OHSAA history, the senior is one of the best to ever come through the Buckeye state.
Canton McKinley went 25-2 this season, Kierstan Bell is the big reason. Falling just short to Tol. Notre Dame Academy 40-38, Bell’s prep career came to and end. Having set 35 school records of her own, Bell did everything and more.
The future Buckeye’s stat line was nothing but impressive. Averaging 27 PPG, 7.9 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 4.4 blocks, Kierstan was a stat sheet stuffer. Also, putting up three assists per game, she found a way to get her teammates involved on a nightly basis.
Going a wild 93-14 in her time at Canton McKinley, it’s easy to say opponents couldn’t knock them off often.
The McDonald’s All-American was a top 10 recruit in the county, and nationally recognized. The 6-foot-1 Buckeye is going to be a big problem for the Big Ten in years to come.
