2021 Player Spotlight: Kenzie Senffner
Coming off an impressive Sophomore season, Yorkville 2021 PG Kenzie Senffner has continued to have success early in the AAU season. The speedy 5’4’’ guard has a non-stop motor which gives her plenty of opportunities to showcase her abilities in transition throughout the game. While she does play more like a true PG, Senffner’s mid-range and 3pt jump shot are consistently pure.
When asked what she sees as strengths in her game, other than shooting, Kenzie said “My ability to see the court and find my open teammates and ability to handle the ball under pressure.”
While she does show her jump shot often, Senffner says “getting to the basket more and finding different ways to finish around the basket” are some things that she is working on this season, while playing with The Truth 16U Silver.
What has been going on in recruiting so far?
“I have watched a practice of the Cornell Rams and I have visited their campus. I also had a phone call with the University of South Dakota.”
Things have recently been developing in the recruiting process for Kenzie and I definitely expect more interest to be coming in this AAU season. She will get plenty of exposure to coaches and I look for them to appreciate how smooth she is out on the court.
