There are a few girls that I am specifically questioning their position. I think they all have potential to rise in the rankings but I need to watch them a few more times before making my decision. Here are the top 2022 forwards to watch this summer!
Kennedy Basham (Pinnacle)
Kennedy Basham is most likely going to play at a big time D1 program one day. You do not want to miss watching her play. I believe that she already has great potential to play after college. She has great size and skill as a freshman. She stands at 6’6 and is extremely skilled. She is only going to grow and develop more.
Kadie Healy (Sabino)
Surprise surprise, another Sabino player on the list! This is a true testament to Sabino and all of the young talent they have on their roster. Healy impressed me when I saw her play earlier this month. I thought she had a great game but coaches told me that was one of her lesser performances. Whether that is true or not, I am definitely interested in seeing her play more and seeing if she deserves a higher spot on our rankings.
Brianna Sealy (Marana)
Brianna Sealy is a double double machine! That is always super fun to watch because it takes a lot of effort and tenacity to achieving that task. She nearly averaged a double double throughout the high school season, which I find super impressive especially since she is a freshman. I am looking forward to seeing her play this summer and seeing whether or not she can bring that type of production to AAU ball.
Kishyah Anderson (Mountain Pointe) & Kamiyah Hurd (Cactus Shadows)
I have not had a chance to see either of these girls play but I have heard a lot of good things. From taking a look at their stats this last season, they seem to have been very productive. Both have solid size standing at 5’9. They will both surely grow and develop. I really want to see these two girls play this summer and get a more accurate read on what they can do on the court.
