Transition game or not, these ladies allow for their teams to move fast up the floor. All possess great ball handling and dribbling skills as they advance up the court. I love to see how fast and strong these players are physically moving as they do work in the game. Players that are “Go-ers” are always a gem to have on a team.
Temira Poindexter, Sophomore, 6’2, Forward, Sapulpa HS, OK Federal Ballerz
Secures the rebound and pushes the ball at a very high rate. She has great court awareness of her defenders and her teammates. Often looks to get her teammates involved whenever pushing the ball from full court. On the other hand, she can be unstoppable while getting to the goal to finish the lay up or get fouled in stride.
#10 Katie King, Junior, 5’4, Point Guard, Harrah HS, OK Swarm 17U BlueStar Dave
Any time Katie is in the game, she makes her team go! Her IQ of the game, constant awareness of the game great body control and exceptional ball handling skills, allows her to move many pieces in the game. She’s always ready to make the 3 but does well getting to the basket with ease to create options for herself or her teammates.

As soon as Blesseth has the ball, it is go time! She moves very fast and swift through the defense. Playing with Blesseth, everyone should be ready to run because she is going to make the team go. Handles the ball well up the court using various moves to offset the defense.
