Continue ReadingShooting will forever be an art to the game of basketball. There are different type of shooters or shooting when it comes to the course of play within a game of basketball. There are outside shooters, mid-range shooters, baseline only shooters, off the dribble, off the catch, and many many more. Summarizing for outside shooters today, you can never forget a shooter and a shooter with a nice shot. Some players we don’t want to forget to mention that have keen shooting sensibility.
#34 Landry Williams, Sophomore, 5’8, Shooting Guard, Metro Christian, OK PWP Elite 16U
What I love about Landry is how she is always ready to shoot and confident to shoot shots from the arc and beyond. The wing and corner are her favorites. If she is open on the wing, the 3 shot is likely to go in. She is very aware of her body on the arc, as she makes 3-point shots on the line or from distance.
#11 Baylee Fincher, Junior, 5’8, Guard, Ponca City HS, OK Swarm 17U BlueStar
Fincher is always a threat, especially with that ball in her hands. She has a NBA range with a quick release. What makes her 3 shot so deadly is the fact that many are worry to guard her because of her ability to drive. Too much space she will knock down the 3-point shot from just about anywhere around or above the arc.
#45 Jordan Hayes, Freshman, 5’7, Guard, Fort Gibson HS, OK Arsenal
I appreciate her footwork on her shot to shoot. Hands ready so she can light the goal up. She’s often in the right spot in order to take the 3-point shot but I also love how she does not force any of shots. She takes her 3 pointers at the correct time within the offense.
#14 Makenna Burch, Junior, 5’7, Guard, Jenks HS, OK PWP 17U Elite
Witnessed her game on multiple occasions. Her shot decision making has greatly improved to near flawless. I like the release and form of her shot. Consistent and fluid ball movement from her hands and Makenna uses the proper footwork dependent on the type of shot necessary.
