A rising 2021 guard, Liberal’s Aubrey Warden is coming off a standout sophomore season for the Lady Redskins as she helped her team advance all the way to the Kansas Class 6A state championships in Wichita.

An all-around guard with good size at 5’10, Warden averaged 6.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, shit 56 percent from the field and 81 percent from the free throw line this past season and says she takes pride in doing whatever is best for her team.

“I am a strong rebounder, I strive to get my teammates open looks off of screens, post touches, or kick outs,” Warden says. “I can post up, drive, or shoot all the way out to the 3. I have to play a lot of post defense because of my strength even though I may be smaller in some cases.”

Warren helped Liberal make history this season as the program recorded its first 20-0 season in school history. Liberal was 22-0 heading into the Class 6A state tournament and finished its season 22-1 overall.
