Spring 2019 Signee
2019 5’11 SG Kaylee Bishop of Lewis and Clark High School has signed with George Fox University. The Division 3 powerhouse has seen a change in the coaching staff with Head Coach Michael Meek being hired at Portland, but the quality of talent is still coming in. Kaylee will provide good length and three point shooting from the wing position. She helped lead Lewis and Clark to a second place finish in the 4A State Championship.
Two new D1 Commits
Two guards out of Seattle’s metro league have given commitments to Division 1 schools. 2019 5’7 G Jasmine Gayles (West Seattle HS) has pledged to Northern Colorado. 2019 5’8 PG Faith Brantley (Garfield HS) just signed to Utah State University. Both players hail from the same club in the Seattle based program, Tree of Hope.
Juco to D1
2018 Bethel HS grad, Tianna Brown, has committed to Grand Canyon University of the Western Athletic Conference. Tianna is yet another player from National Juco, Eastern Arizona, to move onto the Division 1 ranks. She joins fellow Washington native, Makenzie Bond (Beamer HS) as the second player to move from EAC to a Division 1 in this year’s class. EAC has signed a handful of top prospects from Washington in the 2019 class as well.
