#1 Kiya Dorroh 6’1 Sabino
Kiya Dorroh’s season doesn’t tell the whole story on her. Dorroh was apart of the controversy surrounding Sabino HS when they were disqualified from State Playoffs due to prior contact rules. However, the tape doesn’t lie. Kiya is a certified hooper who can score on you in numerous ways. Her favorite move comes on the wing and it’s usually a hard jab step to rip baseline and finish. I am really excited to see what this AAU season has in store for her. Dorroh currently has 13 D1 offers!
#2 Alyssa Brown 6’1 Sahuaro
Coming in at an extremely close #2 is Alyssa Brown. This season, she led all girls in points per game with 24. She also averaged 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block per game. This was extremely hard to decide who is going to be #1 but I ultimately decided to put Brown at #2 because I think Dorroh scores in more ways than Brown does.
#3 Marisa Davis 6’1 Valley Vista
Marisa Davis was also considered for the #1 spot whenever our team discussed rankings and honestly she deserves to be in the conversation. Davis is super talented and matches the size of Brown and Dorroh. This season, Davis averaged 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals per game.
#4 Isabella DiGiovanni 6’0 Seton Catholic Prep
Another player who was discussed at the #1 spot is Seton Catholic’s Isabella DiGiovanni. As you can tell, this class is stacked in forwards. 1-4 are interchangeable as to who is #1. Isabella has so much potential it’s scary. She can hurt you in so many ways, from scoring in the low post, the mid-range, and shooting the deep ball. She has an excellent shooting form and I think she is going to have a huge season next year.
#5 Bridget Mullings Greenway
If you are looking for a stat sheet stuffer, look no further. Mullings can absolutely fill up a stat sheet! This season, Mullings averaged 19 points, 15 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block per game. She only averaged 0.5 assists per game but that isn’t her role. Her role at Greenway is to score the ball and to be a monster on the boards and it is a role that she plays very well.
