#1 Kennedy Basham 6’6 Pinnacle
Basham may have the most potential I’ve ever seen in a high school prospect. Not only is she 6’6 as a freshman, she can hoop. She has a pretty solid base skill set but is only going to get better. She has shown to be an elite rim protector/shot blocker, the ability to score on the block, and has a very respectable 3 point shot. This season, Kennedy averaged 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks per game. She’s going to be a problem for years to come.
#2 Tianna Reeder 5’10 Estrella Foothills
Reeder came into Estrella Foothills and immediately put in work as a freshman on varsity. Tianna averaged 13 points, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block per game. I also see a lot of potential in her since she is a freshman. She is only going to get taller and develop her game. Scary that she’s averaging 13 and 6 as a freshman.
#3 Kadie Healy 5’10 Sabino
If you’ve been keeping up with the rankings, you would see that Sabino has a girl in nearly every top 5 list. Safe to say that they are absolutely stacked and have a load of high potential prospects. Another one of those prospects is Healy. This season, Kadie averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals per game. I think that’s really impressive due to the high volume talent on Sabino’s roster. She’s a freshman that played her way into seeing solid minutes and being effective in those minutes despite the high talent of her teammates.
#4 Brianna Sealy 5’10 Marana
Sealy was dangerously close to averaging a double double this season. That alone is already impressive enough but then factor in that she’s a freshman and it’s even that much more impressive. Sealy averaged 8 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block per game this year. I have a lot of confidence that she’ll average a double double next season.
#5 Kishyah Anderson 5’10 Mountain Pointe
Rounding out our list is Kishyah Anderson. I think this is another player that could potentially average near a double double next season. This season, Kishyah averaged 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. Just need a little boost in the rebounding department and she should see herself averaging 10 and 10 next season.
