#1 Jennah Isai 5’10 Valley Vista
Jennah Isai comes in at #1 and it wasn’t even close. Isai is by far the most talented guard in this class and maybe even the state. She has elite passing vision, a great understanding of the game, and attacks the basket like a maniac. Isai has a sky high ceiling and a motor to match, big things coming for her next season! This season, she averaged 18 points, 2 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals per game.
#2 Kam’Ren Rhodes 5’6 Sabino
If you need a guard that will absolutely fill the stat sheet and contribute to all areas, this is your girl. Rhodes came in and absolutely tore it up as a freshman. She made her presence known by everyone in her conference. This season, Rhodes averaged 15 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals…talk about stuffing the stat sheet.
#3 Talia Dial 5’9 Dysart
Talia Dial is going to do two things every night, every game…score and rebound. That’s her role and she does it almost better than anyone. This season, she averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds, 2 stelas, and 1 block per game. That’s super impressive to come in your freshman year and average 17 a game.
#4 Jaida Brooks 5’7 Mountain Pointe
Brooks put in work during her freshman season, simple as that. I think it is really impressive how well she contributed to her team and how well she filled the stat sheet. This season, Brooks averaged 15 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. Excited to see what she can do next season!
#5 Mackenzie Shivers 5’5 Mesa
Mackenzie Shivers rounds out our list at the #5 spot. She has a huge impact this season and is only going to continue to get better. This season, Shivers averaged 16 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals per game. If she could improve upon her assist numbers, she’d be in the top 3 conversation.
