A walking double-double, Wing Lacey Bradshaw set the tone in the second half with her physical dominance. She finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
And with 0.8 seconds left on the clock, Laci Reinhart hit the daggar shot to clinch the W. The 5’5 dynamic guard finished with 16 points including four 3pt shots in championship round.
Point being made, these girls put together a team to be wrecking with.
Ohio Lady Hoopsters 23’ Kopyar:
Ohio Lady Hoopsters 23’ Kopyar got contributions from all 9 players.
• Emoni Finch played great on-ball defense harassing girls into many turnovers and had some nice drives and finishes at the rim.
• Nelia Guice is a glue to the team—plays hard in every aspect of the game. Took a couple of charges, rebounded well, gave energy on both ends of the floor.
• Leigha Dennison had great energy all weekend long. Was put on other team’s best player several games, and she shut them down. Ran the floor well and was on some nice fast break passes for assists and receiving end for catch and scores.
• Porter Barickman is a six foot post player who is improving each week. Has been working on her post moves, and she Had several up and under moves for scores that ahhhhh’d the crowd!! Also is learning to be more physical and she rebounded this weekend. Scored on many offensive rebound put backs.
Don’t usually profile teams until they get to the high school age, but these are some players to keep an eye on as they will be freshman next season!
