After a whole month of some high intensity AAU ball, we thought it was time for the rankings to get a much needed touch up. You will see some players make their debut on the list, some players greatly rise, and some players consequentially fall. I would like to update our rankings every month to keep a more accurate and comprehensive ranking. Here are the biggest movers and shakers in the class of 2020 for the guard position.
#5 Overall Anna Ostlie 5’8 G Chaparral (Previous Ranking: 7)
Anna Ostlie has risen to the top 5 in our 2020 rankings. We is very well deserving of a top 5 placement. She has played incredibly well every time I’ve seen her. When we first made our initial rankings, I questioned whether or not she was a top 5 player, this summer has already shown me that she 100% is a top 5 player.
#12 Overall Iva Drobjnak 5’7 G Bella Vista Prep (Previous Ranking: N/a)
I was unaware of Drovjnak whenever we made our initial rankings. I had a lot of people telling me that I had to check out this girl, so I did. She played very well and showed that she is one of the top players in state. She has a very good feel for the game and should be in the discussion with the top guards in the 2020 class.
#13 Overall Jasmine Singleton 5’6 G Millennium (Preview Ranking: N/a)
I fully take responsibility for missing Singleton and do apologize. When ranking over 150 girls, it is easy to overlook some. In this case, I completely missed her but I did my research and scouting on her and decided she should be played within the top 15. She is a very good guard and I think she is a great prospect for college.
#30 Overall Antoinette Audiss 5’8 G Marana (Previous Ranking: 80)
Antoinette Audiss has greatly risen in our rankings due to her stellar play this summer and her recent commitment to Embry Riddle. ER is a AZ D2. I wish her good luck in college and hope she takes the rest of the summer off of AAU ball and focuses on skill development so she can be better prepared going into college.
