The tournament will begin tomorrow at 9 AM and will be held at the PHHacility. Here are some of the teams and players that I am most excited to watch!
AZ Select 17U GUAA
AZ Select has a lot of high potential prospects on their roster. I am a big fan of their stellar guard play, with Trayanna Clayburne (Perry 2021), Jess Finney (Chaparral 2021), and Iva Drobjnak (Bella Vista 2020). All three of these girls are super talented and very fun to watch, this team is a must watch.
AZ Swish
AZ Swish has some stellar guard play in their own right. Grace Oken (Perry 2021) and Cadence Davis (Williams Field 2021) are very similar players! Both of these guards have tight handles and good court vision. They can also both put the ball on the floor and score at the basket or pull up and shoot the three. I was really impressed with them at the last tournament that I saw them at and I think they will only be better.
I-10 Celtics
Dyamond Butler-Worley (Shadow Mountain 2020) has switched club teams, going to 602 Lady Nation. I think this is going to open up the court a lot of Zhane Jordan (Shadow Mountain 2021) and I am very intrigued to see how that works out. Jordan is a very good forward and I predict that she will have a much bigger role now that Butler-Worley has switched teams.
