Again, while some of these kids are already known, others look to make a name for themselves.
2021
Kathleen Ahner Kathleen Ahner 5'8" | CG Legacy Christian Academy | 2021 OH , 5-7 Legacy Christian- this kid moves up my radar everytime I see her play. Kathleen is a point guard who has very good handles, strong with either hand, and can control the tempo of the game. Makes the good pass to get the better shot. Will defend on-ball and create havoc. Very good perimeter game, and gets to the rim in transition.
Kaylee Dingee Kaylee Dingee 5'11" | PF Carlisle | 2021 OH , 6-0 Carlisle- one of the hardest working kids in the gym, and wants to take her game to the next level. Saw her at the Dayton Shootout last year, and at 6-foot, she is working to develop an inside presence.
Grace Forrest, 5-7 Mechanicsburg- her game elevated with her key teammate Kasey Schipfer injured last season, and Grace continues to just get better. Hard-nosed athletic guard who has a nice perimeter game, quick and aggressive with the ball. Can slash and score.
Callie Hunt, 6-1 Edgewood- improving all the time, and is very versatile. Long athletic post who can lock things down inside, or step out for a jumper. Good footwork, strong hands and expect a big junior year from Callie.
Ava Lickliter, 5-6 Carroll- look for a breakout season from this guard. They lost all-state Liz Bush, and return several key players including Ava (pictured above). Love her game as a point guard, athletic slasher who can score at the rim, can score from the perimeter, and can fly down the floor in transition. Good handles with both hands.
Jordan Rogers Jordan Rogers 5'8" | CG Franklin | 2021 State OH , 5-9 Franklin- will take over Layne Ferrell Layne Ferrell 6'2" | PF Franklin High School | 2019 State OH ’s role as the main go-to player for the Wildcats, and this kid is so talented! Can score from anywhere, good range, can score from the mid-range, or get by her defender and score in the paint. Moves well, active hands leading to turnovers and transition points.
