1. Jaden Leslie (Dobson High School). Class of 2021 – Arizona Select Rise Black Star, who took the 17U Championship, Jaden was a great contributor to their success. Leslie, a true point guard at its finest. In the toughest moments she is able to calm the offense so they are able to produce. Although she is quiet player and lets her game do the talking, she is a game changer. Her presence on the court is influential towards her team success.
2. Kalayna Johnson (Westwood High School) Class of 2021– Arizona’s Premier standout. Johnson is a silky smooth guard who is able to weave her way to the basket at ease. With her finishing techniques she is able to score at all different types of angles. In addition to that, she can shoot well and from deep. She is an asset to her team with her leadership skills and ability to see the court.
3. Jasmine Belt- (McClintock High School) Class of 2020 –Copper State Basketball Top Prospect – A power house in the paint. With her long arms and her crazy athletic ability, she sent so many attempted shots in the bleachers. A kid that can jump out the gym, and will grab every rebound. Her defensive of presence makes her ten times special. A double -double machine playing both ends of the court. Copper State Basketball picked up a great one with Jasmine.

Offensively, where ever she is at on the court, she is able to find her way to the basket to provide for the team. She consistently is one of or is the leading scorer on her team. In times where they need her most, she can come up big. Although she is tall, her movement is that like a guard. For this reason, she is a versatile player that can go get a bucket or block a shot at a moment’s notice. She lets her emotion and energy out on the floor so her presence is known every second she’s on that court.
5. Liz Cruz class of 2020 (Casteel High School)- Team Arizona’s Power Post- Liz is beginning to show more and more that she deserves all the time she gets on the court. As she is the biggest person on her team, she plays a large role in making sure all the other BIG’s stay controlled. In addition to her defense, she shoots and finishes just as well as anyone else on the court. Despite the way any game goes, Liz can be seen giving full effort and intensity in order to provide her team with the support they need. Liz was a huge asset to Team Arizona success this weekend, they lost in the Championship game in over time by one point.
