Davis is dangerous with the ball in her hands, where she uses her speed and ball skills to control the game. I recently caught up with Kailee Davis to talk about her game, her recent offer from Indiana State, and more.
Question:
What is the biggest strength in your game?
Kailee Davis:
Being able to be a all around player.
Question:
You recently received an offer from Indiana State. How does it feel?
Kailee Davis:
I feel great! This means so much to me and it’s only going to make me work harder.
Question:
Is there any added pressure knowing that colleges are watching?
Kailee Davis:
Yeah, there’s always going to be pressure knowing some of your dream schools are sitting court side. But I stay focused on the game.
Question:
What has been your best moment in basketball so far?
Kailee Davis:
8th grade when I made the game winner to advance to the DPS championship against DEPSA.
Question:
Who has been the toughest player that you’ve ever matched up with?
Kailee Davis:
I honestly don’t know. There’s a lot of good players I’ve played against. Emaia O’Brien i think because our game is more alike.
Question:
What are your team goals for the rest of grassroots season?
Kailee Davis:
Stay focused on the goal more and don’t get so distracted.
Question:
What professional players game reminds you of your own?
Kailee Davis:
Kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard.
Question:
What is your favorite class in school? Why?
Kailee Davis:
I think French because it’s a different language so it brings different aspects of life into it. Also, it never gets boring.
