Able to play from the perimeter and exploit smaller guards, and also able to score and defend down low, Nonnenmann is a player that can do a little bit of everything on the floor. And she’s eager to keep improving.
“I see myself working more on the perimeter and I’d like to continue and work on my post game, but I really enjoy playing on the outside,” said Nonnenmann. “For school season, I play about 50/50 outside, inside.”
As a freshman with Mid-Prairie, Nonnenmann started and played well, averaging 8.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and led the 12-10 Golden Hawks in blocks.
“I thought we played well as a team, we had a really good chemistry,” said Nonnenemnann. “I really enjoyed my season.”
Now, she’s playing with All Iowa Attack 15u. It’s Nonnenman’s first year playing with the organization, and she’s thoroughly enjoying it.
“I really enjoy it so far, I’ve never experienced such a great program like this,” she said. “It’s constantly focusing and so much running and getting in shape, and the coaches are great, we’re always on task, there’s no standing, it’s always moving. I’m really looking forward to the years ahead, I really enjoy it.”
