Three Washington Prospects named to adidas USA Select Team
The adidas Gauntlet has named their roster for the USA Select team. The Select team is comprised of some of the top players in the country from the adidas circuit. The team annually travels internationally to play national level competition in the month of June and this year’s team will be traveling to Spain. Nine players were recently announced and three of them happen to be from Washington state.
2020 5’11 G Jayda Noble (Mt. Spokane HS/NW Blazers) – Jayda has proven herself among the national’s best over the years and the accolades continue to pour in the the UW Husky commit. Jayda will provide the team with athleticism, length, rebounding, defense and scoring in transition. The international game is much faster with a 24 second shot clock, so this will suit her playing style perfectly.
2020 6’3 P Keeli Burton-Oliver (Eastlake HS/NW Blazers) – Speaking of accolades, Keeli has poured them in a lot in the last few months. The 4A State MVP and State Champion lived up to her Arizona State commitment this winter and she looks to keep things rolling this summer. Keeli is one of three returners from last year’s team and will provide a scoring punch in the low block and and high post areas. She has also proven to be one of the country’s best rebounders, as displayed this spring on the circuit.
2021 5’11 SG Talia von Oelhoffen (Chiawana HS/NW Blazers) – The 5-star guard also had a busy winter, winning her classes’ State Championship and Tournament MVP. Talia remains uncommitted for college at this time. She will provide the adidas team with a high basketball IQ from the guard position, outside shooting and next level passing from all over the court. *Returning starter from last year’s team
