Kyah Smith — 5’7 guard for Salem Church Middle School and plays summer ball for the Cap City Ballers is a joy to watch. She’s a floor general with a good basketball IQ and with superior handles for her age. She can shoot the 3, mid range, floater, and doesn’t mind taking it the basket. Smith is also a willing passer that knows how to distribute the ball. Defensively she’s a ball hawk with great anticipation. I look forward to continue to see her grow as a student-athlete.
Ella Weaver — 5’10 forward for William Monroe Middle School and plays summer ball for the Cap City Ballers. Ella has a tremendous motor and is a very intelligent student-athlete. She’s an offensive player nightmare because she’s a willing defender that isn’t afraid to hit the glass (offensively or defensively). She’s the kind of player that does the “dirty work”. She has a good midrange and face up game. She doesn’t waste a bunch of energy to get her shot off and she’s a good penetrator from the high post.
Sydney Turner — 5’8 guard for Swift Creek Middle School and plays summer ball for the Cap City Ballers is a tough young student-athlete. She plays hard on the both ends of the floor but the defensive end of the floor is superb. She has a good physique and good feet which helps her play tremendous on ball and off ball defense. Sydney loves to penetrate and shoot midrange pull up. She’s a good rebounding guard with a good basketball IQ.
Shamayah Stephenson — 5’10 c/o 2024 hybrid player of Oscar Smith Middle School and plays summer ball for BWSL Black Widows. Shamayah has good size and is an exceptional ball handler for her age. She’s very crafty and creative with a good basketball IQ. She can score from all three levels but really enjoys to attack the basket. Shamayah is a good rebounder that can push the ball and makes the proper play.
Hailliey Thomas — 5’5 guard of Hines Middle School and plays summer ball for BWSL Black Widows. She is a pure pest on the defensive end to the floor and a knockdown shooter on the offensive end. She plays the passing lane extremely well and plays great on ball defense. Hailliey loves to penetrate and create scoring opportunities for herself or her teammates.
