As summer ball is now in full swing, Prep Girls Hoops Kansas takes a look at some of the state’s top players on the rise in a variety of positions.
Below are some of the state’s players to keep your eyes on in the 2020 class
Kiley Biltoft, 5’9, F, 2020, Jefferson West
an undersized forward who plays beyond her listed height. She has a lot of hustle and brings a great work ethic to the floor. She does a little bit of everything. She looks to block shots and rebound. When she gets the ball she pushes the tempo and likes to get her teammates involved.
Kylie Dohl, 5’8, G/F, 2020, Jackson Heights
a smart player who can see time as a point guard or shooting guard or small forward. she has a lot of nice tools she brings to the floor and works hard on both ends. She is a hustle player who pushes herself and looks to lock down on defense and score open shots on offense. a smart player who can pass and distribute well.
Lauren Maurer, 5’9, G/F, 2020, Inman
Another wing player who can score for herself and distributes the ball well. She has good size and strong hands. She rebounds well on the defensive end and can block shots and disrupt plays. She moves off the ball well and can catch-and-shoot or create for herself if she needs to.
Madi McCoy, 5’7, G/F, 2020, Wellsville
A smaller wing player who is strong with the ball. She operates well on both ends, and is great at finding a rhythm from distance and getting her shot off against taller players. She can / the baskets some and gets inside and can connect from the free throw line. She plays hard on the defensive end and can forced turnovers and kick-off transition plays.
Cadlee Stallbaumer, 5’9, G/F, 2020, Hanover
A nice combination forward who can score make smart passes and looks to play just as hard on the defensive end. She can handle the ball well and slashes the basket. She is also good at rebounding and looks to make contact and finish plays under the basket. She can also block shots and force turnovers.
