Continue ReadingThe most recent chance we were able to watch was in the live period in May and this team is really a joy to watch! They have a taste of everything on their team. These ladies are young but are dangerous enough to beat absolutely anybody they step on the court with. OKPWP 16U athletic ability alone is scary. I think that is what takes over when things get rough. The fact that they are extremely basketball savvy at their age makes their team that much more intriguing for the future.
#5 Kate Bradley, Sophomore, 5’8, Guard, Bixby HS
#11 Blesseth Dillingham, Sophomore, 5’2, Point Guard, Midwest City HS
Crafty, scrappy guards with great basketball IQ. They really make everything go, and a great one, two punch as PWP can always have a ball handler on the floor. They both do a great job turning their defense to offense and pushing the ball up the floor.
#22 Madison Roberts, Sophomore, 6’1, Forward, Classen SAS
is an athletic swing forward hybrid who has the ability to step out on guards in PNR situations and play great defense. She is athletic to run and finish on the break as well as step out and knock down the long ball. One of many young standouts for the Classen Comets, she will continue develop her versatility and is definitely a high energy player to watch out for.
#12 Haley Mitchell, Sophomore, 5’11, Forward, Thomas Edison HS
A long and rangy forward that has a lot of bounce in her step. She is active inside on both ends of the court and will jump over anybody for a rebound. She showed flashes offensively that can alert college coaches there is talent available to develop. Once she grasps that, the sky is the limit.
#33 Nykale Cramer, Sophomore, 5’11, Guard, Millwood HS
Cramer continues to separate the defense with a deep 3’s.She had a couple of nice pull up jumpers following an up an under showing the versatility in her offense. She had a mini run by herself as she hit a couple of deep threes and a pair of free throws consecutively. She’s exciting. Somebody who has a bright future and should continue to make noise all summer on the circuit.
