She spent her freshman year at the University of New Mexico, averaging 6.2 points per game and started in 32 games for the Lobos. Coming out of high school, N’Dea was one of the top 2017 prospects in the northwest. the 5’7 PG won an Oregon state title in 2014 and placed second in 2017. She was an All-State selection multiple times and also participated on the adidas USA Select team after making adidas All-American two years in a row. After her frshman season at New Mexico, N’Dea would ultimately wind up at National Juco Northwest Kansas Technical College, where she averaged over 24 points per game, almost 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Schools from just about every conference in the country were bargaining for her talents at the Division 1 level, but she made it official that she will be attending Butler University.
This news broke around the same time that high school sophomore Niveya Henley announced her commitment to the same school. N’Dea was a member of the same Northwest Blazers club that Niveya currently plays in. N’Ddea will be eligible immediately to play at Butler, because she is transferring from the Junior College level. Butler was looking to replace their leading scorer and starting point guard, Whitney Jennings. With Flye, Butler will be getting an explosive athlete with elite defensive ability from the point guard position. Butler played a more sound, half court style of game last year, but N’Dea is the type of player that will look to push the tempo more and make plays in the open floor. Butler is coming off of a 23-10 season and looks to take the next step by making the NCAA Tournament.
