Deja Kelly is one of those players I saw very early at multiple venues and camps that showed that and her work ethic is second to none.
Taylor Morgan was always dropping the long ball, she too caught my eye way before high school and her midrange adds even more problems, she has committed to Abilene Christian.
Amanda Turpin isn’t a household name but watching her early just light it up made me tag her “TurpinTime” as she’s one of those players you better guard as soon as she crosses half-court.
Victoria Baker is one of those “name preceded her” players and I can honestly say watching her for the first time in high school a couple of years ago was pleasure. She is hard to stop as both the mid and long range are very effective, she also has committed to UC Irvine while her Vista Ridge high school teammate Zion Neat blew me away at the Tyrone Johnson Showcase as she scored at will dropping the long ball with accuracy every game I saw her play and to show me I wasn’t seeing things, she’s doing the same thing at the Heart Of Texas.
Arianna Sturdivant is strong, physical and knows how to create space on her shot and I’ve seen her drop the long ball with players hanging on her. Her step back creates problems, many problems, but that mid to long range is hard to stop.
