Raniyah Lewis (2024) and LA Sneed (2025) could definitely be listed in this 8, they are both among the top players in the country without me even stepping out of Harris County, I’m that good
Sammy WagnerSamantha Wagner-6’1 G (SA Finest Team Dungee) Reagan HS- Bum Phillips once said “I don’t know if they’re in a class by themselves but it doesn’t take long to call role” so is she the best 2023 in the nation? I haven’t seen everyone but I know this, she has committed to Baylor, shall I stop? Long, athletic, inside, outside or whatever side of the country she’s showcased her skills, she is VERY GOOD and her mindset and work ethic are second to none
Kameryn Phillips-5’8 G (Houston Skyrise 2023) I just smh sometimes but 4 years ago, I wrote this “ there have been a handful of players other than my daughter and Brooke McCarty I’ve called D1 locks this young but add this young lady to the list. She’s one of the most poised 4th graders I’ve seen period and listening to her talk the game just blew me away. She attacks the basket relentlessly and her athleticism and upside will have college coaches blowing her phone up or whatever device we’ll be using in a few years” so add, she has gotten even better
Payton Hull-5’9 G (Texas LoneStar Black) one of the best young “catch and shoot” with accuracy guards in this class. Unlimited range with a scorers mentality, she can fill it up quickly, efficiently and at times, effortlessly as well as take defenders off the dribble. Showed a step back that will give her more options, guard her immediately or else
Kylie Marshall-5’9 F (Team Lex Nation) when I right “ups” by your name and that’s it, everything else comes back. Explosive off of the ground for rebounds, to block shots or that jumper which just goes up smoothly. She plays hard defense and doesn’t mind contact when she attacks because she just come at you from everywhere. You can’t teach effort
Destiny Jones
Destiny Jones-5’7 SG (Lady Drive Nation 2023)-athleticism out the roof, she is long and can hang in the air or just glide to the basket with ease. High energy level is an intangible you can’t teach, she loves the contact and finishes strong with either hand but on top of that, she still has upside which is scary
Stailee HeardStailee Heard-5’9 G (Oklahoma Swish 2021/2022)-some things you just can’t teach and she has a bunch of them. Nice pull up in transition, I love when players can stop and pop with accuracy early and she definitely can. Good range ,creates her shot under pressure, and just has a knack for the game
Paris Guillory-5’7 COMBO (Lake City Pride LA) St Louis Catholic High-I’ve seen her several times and each time she has shown me something different, how about changing hands in mid air on the break for an and one to open things up in one game. Mid to long range or off the dribble, she handles the ball well under pressure and already has multiple offers before she’s played her first HS game
Aysia ProctorAysia Proctor-5’8 G (SA Lady Hoops 2023) Clemens HS-skilled, understands the game, athletic and just understands two main things very well, she can get hers in the flow or just take over if needed because I’ve seen her score double digits in a little over a minute. Nice jumper, quick first step to keep defenders guess but get this, she plays the passing lane which enables her to get easy baskets going the other way. Oh yeah, she’s won numerous dance competitions on The Gram
