AAU Weekend Recap: Run 4 The Roses Classic
The dust has settled at the Kentucky Expo Center after a huge weekend of AAU basketball. Several hundred teams played at the Annual Run 4 The Roses Classic and some of Kentucky’s finest had great showings at the annual summer spectacular. Here’s a look at how Kentucky teams fared. This is the best we could cobble together via twitter, the tournament site and people sending us reports.

Kentucky Clutch went 4-1 at the event with only a 1 point loss to the Maryland Lady Comets. Clutch ended their season on Monday, finishing the year with a record of 12-6. Emilee Hope and Charlee Settle had big games for Clutch over the weekend.
Kentucky Premier Owsley went 2-3 on the weekend.
Kentucky Premier Souder went 2-3 on the weekend.
Kentucky Premier Wood went 2-3 on the weekend.
Kentucky Royals went 4-1 on the weekend. Their only loss was to the same Maryland Lady Comets team that narrowly defeated Kentucky Clutch. Overall a strong weekend for a Royals team led by Kendall Wingler and Piper Macke.
Kentucky Storm Elite went 6-0 on the weekend and won the Championship of the Gold Platinum Division. Salute to Coach Roller and his team. Laci Reinhart had a big weekend for the champs.
The Southern Ky Starz had a rough weekend, finishing 0-5 at the Run 4 the Roses.
The Louisville Legends will also look to recover after a 1-4 weekend at the Roses.

Kentucky Premier-Trumm went 6-0 to claim the Platinum Pink bracket Championship. According to their team twitter, this keeps a perfect season intact for the Trumm team. Congrats to them on a big weekend!
Kentucky Premier-McClain finished the weekend 2-3 after a promising 2-0 start.
Kentucky Premier-Spalding went 3-2 for the weekend.
Ky Elite endured a tough weekend, finishing at 1-4.
The Louisville Legends finished their weekend at 2-3.

Kentucky Premier-Foust went 6-0 on the weekend and claimed the Platinum Blue bracket Championship.
Kentucky Premier-Goodin-Rogers had a strong weekend, finishing 4-2.
Central Kentucky Storm A had a solid weekend at 3-3.
Central Kentucky Storm B salvaged a win on Monday after a rough 0-4 start at the Roses.
The Southern Kentucky Starz went 2-3 for the weekend.
