Then there were some that were already there as far as icing on the cake, Sarah Andrews and Deja Kelly, but they also lit the candles
2020
Deja KellySarah Andrews-5’7 PG (Pro Skills 17U EYBL) one of the best scoring exhibitions I’ve seen in a very long time as she attacked the basket relentlessly diving into college coaches for numerous “and ones” and if the lane wasn’t there, she made her own with acrobatic shots galore. Oh yeah, that jumper was on from everywhere but to top everything off, she got hers in the flow which is even more amazing because she definitely set her teammates up for easy baskets
Deja Kelly-5’7 PG (Drive Nation 17U EYBL) that picture perfect jumper is something she always had and as the range kept getting deeper, she continued to add a variety of extras like the pull up, stop and pop in transition and even a step back. She directs traffic nicely, sets her teammates up for easy baskets and is their vocal leader

Her athletic ability as well as her knack for getting to the rim and dishes the ball off for easy baskets or just scoring herself but she also showed range, mid to long
Crislyn RoseJazzy Owens-Barnett-5’7 PG (Pro Skills 16U EYBL) poised at a very young age and that desire caught my eye years ago. She can run the one or play the two and yes, she shoots the three effortlessly and consistently. She understands two very important things and number is to get her teammates involved which she does quite well or just take the game over when needed
2023
Crislyn Rose-5’5 SG (Lady Drive Nation -Duncan 2023) made one of my tip sheets a couple of years “she hits the midrange, plays the passing lane and I guess she does just about everything well especially attacking the basket for buckets. Explodes of ground for rebounds, tons of athleticism and loves to defend” and now she scores with either hand going to the basket. Her passes are on the money, she talks on the court and she still hasn’t plateaued
