The Common Bond 2021 team continued a successful grassroots season at the Battle In The Boro in Louisville, Kentucky. The event took place July 10-13. The Battle In The Boro had 170 teams in the class of 2021. Common Bond 2021 played in the Whirlaway division that had 64 teams. They played true team basketball with multiple players sharing the scoring load. Common Bond 2021 used a selfless style of basketball to guarantee a quality look at the basket on every posession. In 4 of the 8 games, all 8 players scored. In Louisville, they had one player with 70 total points, one with 64 total points, four with 50-54 total points, and two with 15 and 10 total points. They finished with an overall record of 5-2, winning the Silver Division Championship. Common Bond also went 1-0 on July 9th in the Thoroughbred Classic. The teams current record through grassroots season is 25-6.
