With over 300 teams participating, there were quite a few players who were able to step up and showcase their skills in front of 240 colleges coaches that entered the building. The 32nd Annual USJN is a regular for the DMV as teams from all over the country converge to the DC Metro area for a long week of basketball to finish off their AAU/Club season. This is the third year that the luxurious Gaylord Hotel and Resorts has been converted into 30 basketball courts of live action. This is part two of the players that have shined thus far.

JORDAN HODGES – 5’6″ – POINT GUARD – CROSS OVER HOOPS 17 – 2021
Jordan HodgesJordan is quick off the dribble an was a blur to defenders as she consistently was able to penetrate at will. She has a good pull up jumper off the dribble and great vision to find open teammates. She showed three point range and has emerged as one of the elite level point guards in the 2021 class.
TAYLOR NAPPER – 6’0″ – WING – BOO WILLIAMS 16 EYBL – 2021
Taylor has good size and a good frame. She has the strength to finish after contact giving her team multiple three point play opportunities. Her mid range touch was good enough to keep the defense honest and not lag off of her in help defense.
MCKENZIE GRIFFITH – 5’11” – POST – FAIRFAX STARS – 16 SHOWCASE – 2021
McKenzie seemed a little undersized at the post but she was effective using her strong body inside to create space and finish at the rim. She is quick for her size and has the skill to attack and get to the basket from the wing.
MARY TRIVISONNO – 5’8″ – POINT GUARD – MATRIX 17 BLACK – 2021
Mary TrivisonnoMary plays under control when pressured. She was able to create with good use of her pivot and a variety of up and under moves in the lane to get off her shot. She has a good shot from outside similar to her twin sister Christina.
ALANNA TATE – 5’7″ – POINT GUARD – 1 ON NONE 16 – 2023
Angela NnabueAlanna is one of the area’s top rising freshmen this year and showed her skill translates on a national stage. She can shoot the ball well from each level and is smart with the ball making good decisions. She attacks the lanes well finding gaps to get to the basket in traffic and finish.
