4 Teams in Elite 8
Between the 2 top divisions of #Super64 by Premier Basketball, 4 Oklahoma teams have made it to compete in the Elite 8 on second day of competition. All of these teams are currently undefeated in the tournament to head into championship play. It’s worth noting the point difference is listed in the paranthese of the teams they have defeated to get to the Elite 8.
Baylor Division: OK Swarm BlueStar17U Jim (32, 27).
Notre Dame Division: OK Swish 2021/2022 White (13,16)
OK Swish 2021/2022 Blue(6,9)
OK Swarm BlueStar 16U Richie (16,8)
Brionna Scott Stellar Performance
Scott has an amazing game to help her BlueStar team in their 27 point victory over HG Elite to head into the elite 8. Scott was everywhere on the court and making plays on both ends of the floor. On the defense end, she had 2 steals in a row plus touches on many balls and played good on ball defense, especially in transition. On the offensive end, she scored in multiple ways ob the floor such as corner, wing and drives to the lane. She connected 5 three pointers with at one point she hit 3 in a row. To add, she was a rebounding machine on the offensive boards.
Forward Standouts
#21, Shelby Kraus, Sophomore, 6’1, Forward, Lions Elite, Westmoore HS
Energy with everything Kraus does, she’s everywhere on the court snagging rebounds out of the air on both ends of the floor. In transition and half court set she manages and pushes tempo well and adds to her movement nice moves in the lane.
#20 Rory Greer, Sophomore, 5’10, Forward, Oklahoma Jets, Grove HS
Intensity of every play. Rebounds on both ends of the floor, pushes ball extremely well in transition but what she does best is operating out of triple threat every single time making it hard to defend her because she has an outside shot and handles the ball well, plus crafty for finishes inside .
#Jenni Beebe, Junior, 6’0, Forward, OK Swarm BlueStar17U-David, Kingfisher HS
Consistent in her game play that’s like a moving rock with how solid she is as she moves on defense or offense. Control in everything she does, High IQ and physical player.
