The class of 2020 centers is very solid up at the top. Leading the charge you have #4 overall Sharon Goodman. Goodman is a mobile and skilled center who plays hard all the time and has the ability to really dominate in the post. She has good footwork and agility for her size and uses that to her advantage. The only way that you can stop her is by double and triple teaming her, but that rarely works. Goodman is heading to Iowa after she completes her senior year at Crestwood. The top rated uncommitted player sits just behind Goodman as Anne Awour of Davenport Central comes in at #2. She’s a legitimate 6’5 post player who really knows how to use her body to get positioning and score the ball. She’s still a touch raw but a few years in a college program will really help her development.
The player in these rankings that I think could move up the quickest is Tori Michel of Marquette Catholic. She’s a very strong post player on the inside and is able to draw contact and finish. Her game will be complimented by her being able to stretch her offensive ability across the floor. She has gained strength this summer and I think that is only going to help her finish better on the inside.
