This is a very deep class at the power forward position. Maddie Mock sits at the top of the positional rankings but very close behind her are three other very good DI commits. Mock isn’t playing AAU basketball this summer, but is still at the top because of her versatility and scoring ability on the inside. Even though Mock sits at the top, no player on this list cracked the top ten in the overall rankings. The guard position in this class is very strong at the top, but the power forward spot might be the most depthful. Maya Gyamfi, Grace Boffeli, and Nyajuok Toang are all right behind Mock and could really be in almost any order on this list. These four players all play a separate style but all are going to be impact players in college.
Outside of the top ten I believe the player who can rise up the rankings the quickest is Alex Honnold. She’s a very solidly built post player who had a very nice showing last year in the state tournament. She is going to be count on more this season and I want to see her expand her game a little bit more. Honnold is going to be a key player this upcoming season for Valley and is going to be a big reason they make a run to state.
