This is a rather weak class at the center position compared to the 2020 class. At the top of the center position is Lexi Boles. She’s a player who can stretch it out to the perimeter at times but is best on the inside in a post oriented offense. She has good strength on the inside and clears out space well. Kelsey Fields is next up on the list and she’s a very solid option. Fields moves really well and has a really solid motor allowing her to play on the mid-post effectively.
The player who I think can move up the quickest is the person at the bottom of the list, Jorja Hanselman. She’s got a nice motor, she’s a nice athlete, and she is a vocal player on the floor. There is quite a bit of potential in her game, she just needs to develop her skill a little more and gain strength. Skill development is key and if she does that over the next six months she’s going to shoot up the list.
