At the very top of the list is Ashley Iiams who is a stretch four that plays on the wing just as much as she does in the post. I think at the next level she’s going to be a kid who plays whatever position that is needed. She has the versatility and skill to play 3-5 on the floor. She is a really smart basketball player and will always be in a good spot to shoot. Right behind her are Abbie Draper and Alicia Garcia of the Lady Martin Brothers program. They more post oriented than Iiams although they still have the ability to knock down shots from the perimeter. Garcia has pledged her commitment to Northern Iowa. I think these three players are really interchangeable and pretty different players. A coach could like one of them, but not the other two even though talent-wise they are very close together. On the overall class of 2021 rankings these players slot in at 6-8.
Outside of the top ten, I really like the game of Hannah Neemann. She’s a mobile post who runs the floor well and looks to score the ball when she gets it. She shoots it fairly well from the outside as well. Her calling card is finishing on the inside through strength. She is in store for a big high school season as her and her fellow ranked teammate Paige Andersen will look to return to Wells Fargo.
